Dear Professor Harvey,
I am writing to alert you to a great opportunity for your students. Applications are now being accepted for our Fall Internship Program.
The Koch Internship Program gives Interns the chance to spend their semester working and learning in Washington, D.C., while cultivating valuable skills that will help equip them to become non-profit leaders and entrepreneurs.
During the program, Interns develop the knowledge, skills and experience necessary for careers with market-oriented think tanks, policy institutes, and other non-profit organizations. This hands-on experience gives Interns the chance to explore the non-profit sector, while applying Market-Based Management®, a management philosophy that emphasizes long-term success. Fall Internships are part-time and paid.
Below is some actual program feedback given by Interns:
"Interning at the Foundation introduced me to some amazing non-profit opportunities that I didn't even know existed, and after working here, I’ve gained a useful understanding about non-profit management and leadership. It’s definitely a unique opportunity…and it's paid!”
“Excellent program! I was very impressed with how much the Foundation invests in maximizing the interns’ experience during the program. I was able to learn and accomplish more than I would have in a typical internship.”
Attached is a flyer containing more in-depth information on the program. For complete program information please visit our website www.cgkfoundation.com.
If you have any additional questions please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Steve
